AI Interrogation Case Difficulty Tier List
Know which cases spike, which teach fundamentals, and where Daily or Custom sit on the curve.
Not every AI Interrogation case asks for the same skill. This case difficulty tier list helps you pick the next clear without rage-jumping into spikes. Rankings assume you know the global rules from how to play: solo TrueTalk AI experience, ~10 tries, mean shutdowns, nice lies, confession required.
Exact in-game titles can shift as the studio iterates. Use the brief on screen as truth; use this page for relative difficulty and study links.
S tier difficulty — spike cases
Case 005 Warehouse Fire lands here for most players. Why:
- Multi-step location pressure (gas station → warehouse → seen running)
- Strong red herrings (boots/dirtbike energy)
- Narrow close window if you waste early tries
Full clear path: Case 005 guide. If you are dying here, your issue is usually tangent chasing, not “the AI is broken.”
A tier — demanding but fair
- Case 004 and similar mid-roster briefs that need ordered evidence phases (Case 004)
- Harsh Daily Cases with sparse briefs or chatty suspects (Daily Cases)
- Hard Custom Cases you designed with three proofs + a loud red herring (Custom Cases)
A-tier teaches real interrogation. Expect fails; take notes.
B tier — standard clears
Most remaining base cases in the six-case roster sit here once you own the confession ladder from how to get a confession. They still punish insult spam, but they forgive a mediocre try 2.
See the map in all cases.
C tier — learning cases
Early base scenarios and gentle Customs belong here. Use them to practice tone bands from interrogation strategies without the Warehouse Fire tax.
New players should live in C/B before S. Jumping the queue is how wiki comments fill with “Case 005 impossible” posts.
Difficulty factors we score

| Tangent bait | Little side chatter | Gear/hobby traps |
| Tone sensitivity | Forgiving | Fast shutdowns |
| Location complexity | Single place | Multi-stop path |
| Close clarity | Obvious admission beat | Partial guilt loops |

How difficulty interacts with question tiers
On S-tier cases, only S/A question strategies from the question strategies list deserve tries. On C-tier, you can experiment. Mid-case, consult evidence priority so you do not spend the best proof first for no reason — or last when you already lost.
Tools for hard tiers
Recalibrating after a lucky clear
Sometimes you clear an A-tier case with messy questions and think the tier list is wrong. Log whether you still had tries to spare and whether a shutdown almost happened. Lucky clears that nearly died still count as “you needed better process.” Rebuild the same brief in Custom Cases and aim for a cleaner try curve.
Daily Cases can feel S-tier on a bad brief day and B-tier on a generous one. Rank the brief in front of you, not the mode name.

Difficulty is a coaching signal. If Warehouse Fire is S-tier for you, that means your location discipline needs reps — not that you should quit Roblox or download a script from a stranger.
