AI Interrogation Notes That Survive Ten Tries
A three-column log for time, place, and exact quotes — the habit that turns a chatty AI into a closable case.
AI Interrogation gives you about 10 tries and an AI that paraphrases. Memory is a leak. This page is the notebook method the question planner assumes you already have. Use it with how to play on session one and with fail and retry after they walk free.
You are solo (maxPlayers 1). Nobody else is logging the dumpster denial. If you do not write it, the close on try 9 will quote a sentence you only think they said.
The three-column log
Keep one scrap, one notes app, or the planner. Three columns only:

After each reply, add one line. If you write a paragraph, you will stop taking notes by try 4.
What to capture in mapping (tries 1–3)
Ask where they were, who they left with, and the first time they checked. Copy the companion name if the brief or footage uses Sarah. Copy the exit story (“I drove home”). Do not accuse. You are stocking quotes for later.
If the answer is one word, that is a shutdown signal — log “cold” and switch to too mean vs too nice instead of adding a novel to the notebook.
What to capture in pressure (tries 4–7)
Introduce one evidence item per try. Log whether they:
- Denied the object
- Explained it (sign repair, tomato sauce)
- Changed the subject (job, hobby, lunch)
Changed-subject lines are stalls. Do not add the hobby to your Place column. Refuse it and return to the brief, as in how to get a confession.
For Warehouse Fire, the log should trend location, not boots. Gas station → warehouse → seen running. If dirtbike appears, write “tangent — ignore” and move on (Case 005).
What to capture in close (tries 8–10)
Circle one contradiction from the log. The close is a quote plus a demand that matches the crime name on the brief. If the log has no circle, you are not ready to close — you are hoping. That hope is how they walk free.
Stop writing when the confession is on screen. Extra notes after a win are fine; extra sends are not.
Paper vs the on-wiki planner
The question planner is for the next three sends you intend to type. The notebook is for what they already said. Use both. The planner without quotes becomes fanfiction. Quotes without a planned send become a scrapbook you never weaponize.
The pressure checklist decides escalate vs soften. Your log tells you which fact to put on the table when you escalate.
Daily and Custom notes
Daily Cases hide the levers. Start the log empty and refuse mean until two objects exist on the page.
Custom Cases are where you practice the habit: author a suspect with one weapon-like object and one time conflict, then force yourself to fill the three columns before try 4.
Case 004 punishes skipping the quote column. Professional mapping is just disciplined notes.
What not to log
- Insults you plan to send (they are not evidence).
- “I think they did it” (motive last — evidence priority).
- Entire AI paragraphs (one sentence is enough).
- Codes and scripts. Active codes are empty; the Scripts Hub has no dedicated public kit. Notes beat pastebins.
