AI Interrogation Daily Cases

Daily Cases are AI Interrogation’s rotating practice lane. Instead of only replaying the six base stories, you get a brief that can change on a schedule — new crime framing, new evidence nouns, same brutal rules. You still have roughly 10 tries, you still lose to shutdowns when too mean, and you still drown in lies when too nice. This guide teaches how to clear unfamiliar briefs without panicking.

If you have not finished the fundamentals, start with how to play and how to get a confession. Daily mode assumes you already own the ladder.

Why Daily Cases exist

Base cases teach routes. Daily Cases punish route addiction. Players who only memorize Case 005 line-by-line often freeze when the gas station vanishes and a new location appears. Daily mode forces transfer: tone bands, evidence ranking, and closing discipline from interrogation strategies.

TrueTalk AI’s solo experience (place 109547184439419, released 2026-08-07) is built for this kind of puzzle repetition. There is no squad to cover your bad questions.

First 60 seconds on a new Daily brief

  1. Read every line of the brief before the terminal.
  2. Highlight objects, places, and times — ignore flavor adjectives.
  3. Pick your top three pressure facts using evidence priority logic.
  4. Write a try plan: map / pressure / close.
  5. Open the question planner or a notes app.

Skipping the highlight step is how players invent questions the brief never supports.

Adaptation framework

If the brief emphasizes…Lead with…Avoid…
Objects / tracesFingerprints, stains, toolsVague motive lectures
Locations / pathingOrdered place pressureRandom gear tangents
Timeline / clocksExit times and sequence trapsEarly confession demands
Disposal / cleanupDumpster, bags, washing storiesInsults without proof

This is the same split you see between Marcus-style object cases and Warehouse Fire location cases. Daily briefs borrow from both families.

Try economy for unknown stories

Unknown briefs need slightly more mapping than a memorized base case:

  • Tries 1–4: Map more carefully. Confirm nouns.
  • Tries 5–8: Pressure with your best two facts.
  • Tries 9–10: Close hard if the contradiction exists; otherwise take the loss and reset smarter.

Resetting a Daily Case after a learning death is normal. Treating every fail as permanent skill damage is not.

Transfer checklist from base cases

Bring these habits from the roster covered in all cases:

  • One question per try.
  • Quote trap contradictions.
  • Ignore bait side stories (boots/dirtbike energy on any case).
  • Firm close only after proof.
  • Use the pressure checklist when unsure whether to escalate.

Leave behind:

  • Exact Case 004 wording.
  • Exact Case 005 gas-station lines if the brief has no station.
  • Assuming codes will bail you out — there are currently none (active codes).

When Daily feels harder than base

Daily difficulty spikes when the brief is sparse or the AI is chatty. Counter with narrower questions. Rank your question quality against the question strategies tier list. If you keep losing the same way, your issue is process, not “bad RNG.”

Compare perceived difficulty with the case difficulty tier list mindset: high difficulty means more red herrings and tighter close windows, not unfair terminals.

Pair Daily with Custom practice

After a tough Daily fail, rebuild a similar brief in Custom Cases. Custom mode lets you rehearse the exact weakness — multi-location paths, stain contradictions, clock breaks — until the Daily version feels familiar.

Also watch updates for mode changes; Daily behavior can shift when TrueTalk AI ships content drops like the custom cases update.

Suggested Daily warm-up routine

  1. One easy base clear for confidence.
  2. Skim strategies page for two templates.
  3. Attempt today’s Daily with notes.
  4. Review misses for 2 minutes.
  5. Second attempt with a revised evidence order.

Daily Cases reward detectives who can read a brief cold. Master adaptation and the rotating mode becomes the best training tool on the wiki — not a daily frustration machine.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for AI Interrogation detectives.

Do Daily Cases use the same 10-try limit?

Yes — plan around the same try economy as base cases.

Can I reuse Case 005 questions on Daily?

Reuse the method, not the nouns. Only ask gas-station lines if today’s brief supports them.

What should I do after failing a Daily Case?

Rewrite your evidence order with the question planner and attempt again.

Are Daily Cases harder than Custom Cases?

Daily briefs are fixed by the rotation; Custom lets you control difficulty. See Custom Cases.
