How to Play AI Interrogation
First-session setup, try limits, tone rules, and the win condition for TrueTalk AI’s solo interrogation game.
AI Interrogation is a solo Roblox experience by TrueTalk AI where you sit across from an AI suspect and type questions into a terminal. Your job is not to role-play forever — it is to force a full confession before you burn through your limited tries. This how-to-play guide covers the first session, the win and fail conditions, and the habits that separate lucky clears from repeatable ones. Pair it with how to get a confession once you understand the UI.
What the game is
You join place 109547184439419 (universe 10649457157) as the only player. There is no lobby party and no second-player assist — maxPlayers is 1. Each case gives you a brief, a suspect, and a set of facts you can probe. The AI answers in character. If you push too hard, the suspect shuts down. If you stay too nice, they keep lying. Somewhere in the middle is the pressure band that unlocks contradictions and, eventually, a confession.
Historically the experience charged about 25 Robux to cover AI server costs. After studio rebuilds there have been free-access windows — check relaunch notes for the current context. Codes are currently none; see the Codes Hub if you are hunting promos anyway.
First session checklist
- Open the Roblox experience and wait for the interrogation room to load.
- Read the case brief carefully before typing anything.
- Note the try counter — you typically get 10 tries per case.
- Open the terminal and send one clear, specific question.
- Read the full reply before asking the next question.
- Log contradictions on paper, in note-taking, or in the question planner.
- When the confession prompt appears, close cleanly instead of celebrating early.
New players often waste tries restating the same accusation. Treat each try as a scarce resource. If you need device or UI help, skim controls first.
Win condition vs fail states
| Outcome | What it means | What to do next |
|---|---|---|
| Full confession | Suspect admits the crime clearly | Case clears; move to the next |
| Soft lies | Suspect dodges with polite stories | Raise pressure with evidence |
| Shutdown | Suspect refuses / goes silent | Soften tone; re-open with facts |
| Tries exhausted | Counter hits zero without confession | Restart with fail and retry |
A confession is not “they sound guilty.” You need an explicit admission that matches the case. Practice closing lines on the confession guide after you learn the terminal rhythm here.
How to use your 10 tries
Think of the ten tries as three phases:
Phase 1 — Map (tries 1–3). Ask where they were, who they were with, and what timeline they claim. Do not accuse yet. You are collecting statements you can later break.
Phase 2 — Pressure (tries 4–7). Introduce evidence one piece at a time. Compare answers. Ask why two stories conflict. This is where interrogation strategies matter most.
Phase 3 — Close (tries 8–10). Summarize the contradiction chain and demand the confession. If they crack, stop adding new tangents.
Burning phase-1 tries on insults is the most common beginner mistake. Tone aggression is a tool, not a personality.
Tone balance in plain language
The game’s core loop is mean-vs-nice:
- Too mean → shutdown. You lose information and may waste tries restarting rapport.
- Too nice → endless lies. The suspect stays comfortable and never admits.
- Firm + specific → best band. Cite a fact, ask a closed question, wait.
If a reply turns cold or one-word, back off one notch and re-anchor on a concrete detail (time, place, object). If a reply is long and charming, they are stalling — cut the charm with evidence. The pressure checklist is built for this mid-case decision.
Reading the case brief
Every case gives you hooks: locations, objects, times, and motives. Circle three facts you can force into questions. Example hooks you will see across the base roster include weapons, clocks, dumpsters, gas stations, and warehouses. The all cases overview explains how the six base cases differ so you do not treat them as identical scripts.
For a concrete warehouse route later, jump to Case 005. For a bar/hammer evidence pattern used in confession practice, see the Marcus notes inside how to get a confession.
Terminal habits that save tries
- Ask one question per try. Compound questions waste the answer budget.
- Prefer closed or semi-closed prompts: “Were you at the gas station at 9?” beats “Tell me everything.”
- Quote their previous words back to them when they contradict.
- Never chase side stories (boots, dirtbike hobby talk, unrelated family drama) unless the brief names them as evidence.
- Stop typing when they confess. Extra questions can muddy a clear win.
Modes after the tutorial feeling
Once you clear a couple of base cases, open Daily Cases for rotating practice and Custom Cases to design your own suspect. Ranking pages under the Tier List Hub help you decide which question styles to keep.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for AI Interrogation detectives.
How many tries do I get per case?
Most cases give you **10 tries**. Plan map, pressure, and close phases instead of spraying accusations.
Can I play with friends?
No. AI Interrogation is solo (`maxPlayers` 1). Practice alone, then compare notes via guides like Case 005.
What happens if I am too aggressive?
The suspect can shut down. Soften tone and return to concrete evidence using the pressure checklist.
Are there codes that give extra tries?
There are currently no verified codes. See active codes for status.
